- Another thing that doesn’t help the fact that children watch way too much television and are becoming less active and obese is the fact that 70% of all day cares use televisions as an activity for children instead of an outside activity where kids can expend energy and just be active.

Deletions:
- Not only is too much television a risk to a child’s health, it is also a risk to their psychological development. By the time that they have finished elementary school, the average child will have watched or heard of over 8,000 murders on television. The average young person sees 200,000 acts of violence on television by the time they are 18, 40,000 of which are murders. Young people that watch too much television exhibit the same symptoms as someone who has a serious substance abuse problem. The reason for this is that they both show the same symptoms which include: using TV as a sedative, indiscriminate viewing, feeling loss of control while viewing, feeling angry with oneself for watching too much, inability to stop watching, and feeling miserable when kept from watching ("Teaching Science" 1). Childhood obesity has led 11% of children to be at risk for many health problems and serious diseases such as heart disease, most of which they know nothing about, and it’s all because of the television. Studies have shown that in 4 hours of Saturday morning cartoons, there wereover 200 advertisements for junk foods. When children see these ads they don’t think about the consequences of them eating the foods in them and how unhealthy they could be for them, all they think about is how much they want whatever is on the television. I would say that 90% of what is being advertised is very unhealthy to a child.

-Whether he was a convincing orator or the German people wanted someone to blame, they did what he said.
- In 1985, less than 14% of each state's population was considered obese. all of the states had less than 14% of their population being obese.
- Obesity has been increasing over the years due to the following: a general lack of concern for nutrition, an abundance of fast food restaurants, and a general lack of responsibility. laying cause anywhere other than oneself
- Football can come down to a game of inches to decide a victor. Inches short of a first down to continue a rallying drive; inches wide of the goal posts; inches from a receiver’s finger tips. But this game of inches is more than just that. Winning a game comes down to teamwork, heart, determination, talent, and atmosphere. Teams are made and broken on these principles. Outside factors do exist and can be a big part of the outcome. Take for instance referees. They play a large role in the game and in the case of the Penn State versus Michigan played a huge role in determining the victor.

“By most measurements it is a tiny sliver of time - a heartbeat-and-a-half, a sigh, a hiccup. It also can seem like an eternity (philly.com).” The biggest factor in the loss was the addition of two seconds onto the clock after Michigan called time out.

- Typically, blood tests are hard to prove because DNA is so complex. Of course, tests were conducted on the blood at the scene, in his car, and at his home. If a suspect's blood is found at the murder scene, that is really all the DA should need. "To deny guilt when your blood is at the murder scene is the euivalent of a man being caught by his wife in flagrante with another woman and saying to her(quoting Richard Pryor), 'Who are you going to believe? Me or your lying eyes?'"(Outrage, p. 20) Not only was Simpson's blood found at the murder scene, but also the victims' blood was found in his car and home. After conventional testing, it was deducted that it was indeed Simpson's blood type-Type A. But, after enzyme breakdown, tests proved that characteristics of the blood matched one-half of 1 percent of the population. To not convict with blood samples like this is preposterous. With no other evidence, the DA should have been able to sit back and watch the clock. While evidence like this proves OJ's guilt, many jurors disregarded it. Why? Apparently it was presented in such a way, that jurors were not able to interprate it. One juror, a 72-year old black woman, says, "I didn't understand the DNA stuff at all. To me, it was just a waste of time. It was way out there and carried absolutely no weight with me." Obviously, the prosecution did a poor job in explaning the blood samples. If this woman actually thought that "DNA stuff" was a "waste of time," the DA obviously did not reach her. Without a doubt, if the blood evidence had been presented differently, the jurors would have been inclined to convict.
