Today was the first day of English class. We are supposed to write a little about ourselves and select a license. This will be become our first blog. Well, I really don't know what I am supposed to write about myself. I am in the Division of Undergraduate Studies and am currently interested in pursuing a career in biology or psychology. I chose to come to Penn State because I love the feel of being part of such a large campus where there is something for everyone to do. In my freetime I love to play volleyball and swim. Summer is my favorite season and I absolutely love the beach.

I am not exactly sure if I am doing this correctly. I picked this license because I do not want my work used commercially. Also, if changes are made to my work, I want to know about it. I don't think it is right that people can steal your work with no recognition of where it came from. I guess now that I think about it, I see why it is such a big deal to download music offline without paying for it. Musicians spend so much time producing their music and then people go and listen to it for free. Granted, musicians still make a great deal of money, but just think of all the other people who are involved in producing a cd. They are getting stolen from when people illegally download and burn music from the internet.
