Imagine the day all of your worries and problems melt away. Relaxation is your only chore. Some shore within the Gulf of Mexico, you dig your feet under the sand by the clear blue water. Festivals ensue, both day and night, catering to your every pleasure. Imagine such a place; imagine Cancun, Mexico.
Cancun is the ideal place to vacation due to the reasonable cost of airfare and accommodations, the multitude of activities during the day, and the amazing nightlife. One might ask, how much does a trip to Cancun really cost? It depends on the travel agency and the deals that they might offer. If you already have a travel agent, planning ahead would be a good idea. When I went to Cancun with my friends, we planned the trip three months in advance. We ended up getting a deal that was the chance of a lifetime. It included an all inclusive package for eight days and seven nights and all you can eat/drink for the price of eight hundred dollars per person. I met people, while in Cancun, who were offered the same deal but for an even better price.
I believe it would be a good idea to bring spending money due to the extra activities available. If you plan on going out, bringing about two hundred to three hundred dollars is necessary. The reasonable price crowns Cancun with the title of “Best Vacation Spot.”
Cancun is a great city and the ocean is beautiful. The water is so clear and blue its breath taking. Cancun is good for relaxing and taking it easy. During the day, most resorts have different games and activities for entertainment. Lying by the pool, or the beach, is a major plus. Most places have bars by the pool so drinking is very accessible. The drinking age in Cancun is eighteen, but if you look old enough you are considered old enough to drink. Imagine just laying out by the pool with a drink in one hand and your friends beside you. For most people, this is what they look forward to.
Cancun is also a great vacation spot because your resort accommodations usually offer various outside activities, for a set price, like parasailing, jet skiing, snorkeling, and taking a ride on the banana boat. The banana boat is exactly with it sounds like. You sit on a banana shaped float which is attached to a speed boat, and pulls the float behind it. It is a lot of fun because you go fast, the ride is bouncy, you can usually get some serious air, and if you lean a certain way, you can actually wipe out which most people enjoy doing. It costs money to do these things because they are not covered in the resort package [this sentence is a bit of a weak conclusion to your paragraph].
The employees at the resorts are very nice and helpful. You can usually go exploring outside the city. The outer city offers many restaurants, historical sites, a mall, and a flea market where you can bargain your heart away. There are many things to do during the day, which makes it hard to get bored. Who would not enjoy eating whenever you want, leisure drinking, and doing whatever your heart desires?
Cancun is amazing. It is so laid back that it seems like it cant get any better, but it does [this is repetitive]. The nightlife is most exciting. If you are not into going out, there are shows put on by the resort and bars that are open late. If you decide to check out the clubs, you are in for a treat. Most resorts have packages where you get treated like a V.I.P. for about fifteen to thirty dollars. You get your own section and an all you can drink special. While drinking or dancing, you get the opportunity to meet new people. The music is fun to dance to, and some clubs, such as Coco Bongo and Daddy O’s, put on some unbelievable shows. There are many clubs to chose from like La Boom, Bulldog, The City (which was built two years ago), and many more. If you are not in the mood to dance, there are places like Pat O’Brien’s and Senor Frogs where you can just drink and mingle. Boredom at night is difficult due to the infinite number of places to go to+ and the activities that are offered by the resorts.
Cancun is truly the best vacation spot. The cost is reasonable, the food and drinks are excellent, activities are plentiful during the day or night, and you get the opportunity to meet a lot of new people. I have gone to Cancun for two summers in a row and I regret none of it. I had so much fun experiencing the culture, the environment, and the many things that I could not possibly do at home. I absolutely loved it! At the moment, Cancun is not in its best shape to accommodate vacationers due to the effects of Hurricane Wilma. Nevertheless, I have faith that everything will be fixed and returned to normal. When Cancun is at its best, it is an unbelievable experience. When you are actually there, the vibe you get is remarkable and every moment spent there will be missed when it comes time to go home and face reality.
[A very nice evaluation. Several details tend to get repeated and a few small errors in word choice detract from the overall affect of the essay.]
