Remember that you are supposed to be working on cluster formation and consider topics for discussion w/r/t/ your
FinalProject. Browse some projects from previous semesters if you are unclear what is required. Also, think about alternative representations of rhetorical content. I would be interested in seeing projects that are non-textual (ie. video, interactive, or art object, for instance). If you have such skills and would like to use them in making a final project, I am more than willing to discuss any ideas.

Come to class with thoughts for possible analogies you might like to write about. I have a list of possible topics, but I am open to your suggestions.
Assignments:
- Write an analogy argument. A list of topics was discussed in class. You may choose one of those or email another project idea to the professor by midnight on 10.3.5 (or whenever the professor goes to bed (usually sometime around 2AM)). The argument should be 500-750 words, adequetely engage counterargument, and show an understanding of basic grammar (I will start penalizing more for comma misusage than I have been, in the past). A rough draft of the paper will be due to the wiki before 11 AM on Wednesday. As with the definitional argument, bring at least one dead-tree copy to class for workshopping on Wednesday.
