Additions:
What makes a good movie? Many movies are made each year and some do good and some do their theatrical qualities hold any merit on these [This feels like two sentences with the part that connected them removed ... what question are you asking here?]? No, they do not. Movies are valued by the message that is conveyed through acting, music, and cinematography. I think that Team America represents the epitome of each of these, therefore, making it a great movie [Nice!].
The acting in Team America is made solely by, the makers of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone. They portrayed every voice in the movie while making many parodies. This alone is an accomplishment because of the large array of characters within the movie. They used there witty humor to portray accurately [accurately portray] U.S. foreign policy. The opening scene portrays this elite group, Team America, destroying Paris. This act shows many famous pieces of architecture such as the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe being destroyed. This is used as parallelism to our careless attitude to Arab architecture which they [who's they?] also hold in high regard. The movie also pokes fun at many Hollywood actors mainly because of the way they act towards the creators. According to an interview by Wave magazine, Matt Stone said, "We're on everyone's shit list." This is why[,] through comic relief[,] they poke fun at Alec Baldwin, Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn, Janeane Garofalo, and Matt Damon. The parallel between F.A.G., or film actors guild, with[and] the United Nations is obvious. Both parties would rather talk about problems without acting on them, therefore putting the world in danger.
The music in the movie is also very funny. The theme song which is played in with different tempos to portray the different emotions throughout the movie was called "America Fuck Yeah". It portrayed the Imperialistic ideals of the U.S. as the police of the entire planet, even though they were never appointed. Just as in the South Park movie Bigger Longer and Uncut there was also some music used to waste time and this was also hilarious by critiquing popular culture [so in this sentence you've simultaneously insulted the music and complimented it. awesome]. An example of this is when they spoof Michael Bay for destroying our history with the horrible movie Pearl Harbor. They also use music to enhance cinematographic aspects of the movie like when they use the montage song during the montage.
Another aspect that makes this movie so good is the cinematographic genius. The first thing that jumps out in this movie is that all the action is being depicted through marionettes. This enhances the movie by allowing us all to relate[,] because we are all loosely controlled by social "strings", or peer pressure. Most of the scenes you can put someone you know into them, whether it is the crude language, multiple sex positions, or hitting rock bottom and puking in an alley. [In most scenes, you could imagine the action happening to someone you know] The lighting and choreography for the broad way show is also a great spoof of Rent. I also found that portraying American intelligence as a computer with a stoner accent was perfect. It accurately portrayed the current state of our information from the Pentagon, due to the fact that they can make stuff up with out having to account for its accuracy [this is a pretty loaded claim]. The way the computer would take live feeds off the news just makes it even funnier, thus showing our government finds out the truth last.
The aspects fore [huh?] noted are the reason why a movie of puppet can successfully make you laugh for two hours. Some think that by modeling the movie off a bad action flick, it would make its plot seem dull. By spoofing the very movies that it follows it makes it just that more hilarious, for example look at "Not Another Teen Movie." [This sentence makes no sense. What are you trying to talk about?] This movie mimics a typical teen movie, while spoofing all of them at the same time. Therefore, if you are looking for a movie to make you think about the current political climate in a comical light;[,] Team America: World Police is not a waste of time.
[This essay is confusing in a large number of points and demonstrates a lack of proofreading or effort.]
