Second-party developers are video game publishers that are partially owned by a console manufacturer but are still considered a separate company. Like first-party developers, they make games exclusively for only one console. Second-party developers include Nintendo’s HAL Laboratory, Sony’s Guerilla Games, and Microsoft’s Epic Games.
