This paper will argue that the drinking age now prevents people from getting into harder drugs. It will also talk about how keeping marijuana illegal will also prevent people from taking other drugs. [The first sentence of this is very interested. I'm curious to see what you have to say.]
[This is a pretty slim proposal, but I think the argument for lowering the drinking age to keep kids off of drugs is very interesting. I'm curious to see what you can come up with.]

Colleges are ranked at the top of many party places. It only takes time before someone who never drinks, has their first beer after they are at college with no parents to control them. Many people start drinking before college when they are still in high school, and some even before that. It’s no secret that people drink underage. It is an illegal act and people that are caught are punished. The same thing goes with marijuana. Studies show that about one in four high school seniors have smoked marijuana. Now if they really wanted people not to do such an act, the punishment for committing the crime would have to be much greater or you will never learn your lesson.
This paper will argue that the drinking age now prevents people from getting into harder drugs. It will also talk about how keeping marijuana illegal will also prevent people from taking other drugs.
It talks about how if the drinking age was lowered then people would be more inclined to do other types of drugs that are much more harmful to the body. But a counter argument to that would be talking about the drinking age in other countries and statistics about them. It also gives statistics of the number of people that have consumed alcohol underage and whether the number has increased or decreased over the years.
This paper will also talk about other drugs that people use. It will talk about how the effects of these other drugs put people at a higher risk of ending their life because of the chance of overdosing along with the little people know about those drugs.

This paper argues that keeping these laws of drinking prevents people from getting into harder drugs. It talks about how if the drinking age was lowered then people would be more inclined to do other types of drugs that are mush more harmful to the body. It also give statistics of the number of people that have consumed alcohol underage.
